A change has been made to the finalist list in the “First Feature-Length Fiction Film Pitching Platform” category of Film Forum, the co-production and project development platform held as part of the 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, in accordance with the regulations.
The projects to be evaluated by industry professionals at Film Forum, which is part of the 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival taking place from 24 to 31 October 2026, were announced recently. After it was determined that one of the projects shortlisted in the First Feature-Length Fiction Film Pitching Platform category did not comply with the regulations, “Tanrının Yükü” (The Burden of God), written and directed by Kader Kaya and the first project on the reserve list, joined Film Forum.
Providing a total of TRY 1.45 million in support for new productions in Turkish cinema, Film Forum will see its finalist projects make their presentations from 11:00 a.m. on 26 October. The projects receiving awards at the ceremony on 27 October will then embark on their journeys with their first grants.
Applications to the Pitching Platform were evaluated by a preliminary jury comprising screenwriter and author Hüseyin Kuzu and academic and film writer Ertan Tunç. The preliminary jury for the Work in Progress section consisted of director, producer, screenwriter and lecturer Elif Refiğ, and producer and media executive Sena Argün.
Aiming to discover new filmmakers, support them in taking a strong first step into the world of cinema, and bring their projects together with film professionals, Film Forum will take place on 26–27 October.
