Film Forum, an event held as part of the 63rd Antalya International Golden Orange Film Festival that brings together young and independent filmmakers, will take place for the 13th time from October 25 to 27. Applications for Film Forum will open on Monday, June 29, 2026, and will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026.

The 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival; projects are being accepted for the “Pitching” category under the Feature-Length Fiction Film Platform, as well as for the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Screenplay Support Fund, the First Feature Film Development Platform, the Work-in-Progress Fiction Film Platform, and the Work-in-Progress Documentary Film Platform.

To support a national feature-length film in which at least two-thirds of the shooting takes place in the city of Antalya and the final edit includes at least two-thirds of scenes shot in Antalya, Film Forum, which supports the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Screenplay Support Fund—established to increase film production in Antalya, a location offering the most favorable natural light and natural sets for filming in Turkey, and to transform Antalya into one of the key centers of the Turkish and global film industries—will accept project submissions this year until Monday, September 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

The Golden Orange Festival Continues to Support Filmmakers

The “First Feature Film Development Platform,” launched for the first time last year as part of Film Forum, continues this year as well. Aimed at supporting screenwriters and directors in their first feature-length fiction projects, offering creative input to scripts in the development phase, and establishing a sustainable production plan, the program will continue this year to bring new voices to cinema and strengthen the process of bringing first films to life. 

Projects from Turkey with a runtime of at least 60 minutes may apply to the “Pitching” platforms, while projects from Turkey that are in post-production or have completed at least 70% of their filming may apply to the “Work in Progress” platforms—all applications must be submitted by Monday, September 21, 2026. 

Application Deadlines for National Competitions Have Also Been Announced

At the 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, submissions for the National Feature Film, National Short Film, National Documentary Film, and Film School Student Film Competitions will open on Monday, June 29, 2026. Submissions for the competitions will be accepted until Monday, August 31, 2026.
