Turkey’s longest-running film festival, the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, will take place from October 24–31, 2026, and features 12 films in its National Feature Film Competition. At the Golden Orange, films will compete for Best Film, the Dr. Avni Tolunay Special Jury Prize, the Behlül Dal Best First Film Award, Best Director, the Cahide Sonku Award, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Music, Best Editing, Best Art Direction, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Documentary Film, the Documentary Film Special Jury Prize, Best Short Film, the Short Film Special Jury Prize, the Sungu Çapan Critics’ Jury Award for Best Domestic Film, and the Film-Yön Best Director Award. In the national selections, all films will premiere in Turkey at the Golden Orange Film Festival.
With a total prize fund of 11 million TL this year, the festival will make a significant contribution to cinema; the Best Film award in the National Feature Film Competition has been set at 5 million TL. Derviş Zaim will serve as the Jury President for the National Feature Film Competition at the Golden Orange.
12 Films Will Compete for the ‘Golden Orange’ in the National Feature Film Competition
Films that contribute to cinematic culture and stand out for their original storytelling and artistic approach will compete in the National Feature Film Competition, whose preliminary jury consists of post-production company manager, studio and production coordinator Ahmet Seyrekbasan; producer Derya Tarım; and academic Prof. Dr. Zeynep Çetin Erus.
All films in the selection will have their Turkish premieres, and a total of 8 films will have their world premieres in Antalya.
In the National Feature Film Competition, “Artakalan”—directed by Yeşim Ustaoğlu and starring Öykü Karayel, Metin Akdülger, Ali Kayra Kul, and İlyas Salman—will have its Turkish premiere following its inclusion in the Official Selection of the 74th San Sebastian International Film Festival’s 2026 Official Selection, will have its Turkish premiere. “Wait for Us, Brussels,” directed by Necmi Sancak and starring Caner Cindoruk, Can Bartu Arslan, Deniz Işın, Hande Doğandemir, Deniz Dumanlı, and Menderes Samancılar, will have its world premiere in Antalya. Directed by Büşra Bülbül and starring Sevda Erginci, Duygu Köse, Ümran Şakır, Osman Doğan, and Ahmet Çelik, “About the Mother” will have its Turkish premiere following its screening in the Asian New Talents Competition at the 28th Shanghai International Film Festival. Directed by Ferit Karahan and starring Demet Özdemir, Kaan Yıldırım, İlhan Şen, Sarp Bozkurt, Helin Kandemir, and Evliya Aykan, “The Wedding of the Jinn” will meet audiences in Turkey for the first time after being selected for the 2026 Platform Section of the Toronto International Film Festival. Directed by Emre Aybek and starring Yasemin Sakallıoğlu, Mehmet Korhan Fırat, Yiğit Özşener, Ali Aksöz, Hande Doğandemir, and Tuğba Çom, “The Wedding Singer” will have its world premiere in Antalya. Directed by Sinan Sertel and starring Berfu Öngören, Cemil Büyükdöğerli, Defne Doğar, Ekin Türkmen, Mehmet Çepiç, Sabahattin Yakut, Serkan Altıntaş, and Ulvi Kahyaoğlu, “Elisa” will have its world premiere in Antalya. Directed by Hüseyin Karabey and starring Mert Fırat, Mehmet Günsür, Yağmur Elif Seber, Ümit Çırak, and Emre Yıldızlar, “The Death of Truth” will have its world premiere. Directed by Emir Ziyalar and starring Umut Aksoy, Tülin Özen, Barış Kolik, Yaşar Karakulak, Öykü Su Okur, and Bilgi Nur Aydoğmuş, “Ancient Blue” will have its world premiere in Antalya. Films in the Short Film and Documentary Film Competitions at the Golden Orange Festival Have Been Announced
The films competing in the National Short Film and Documentary Film Competitions whose preliminary selection committee consists of Associate Professor Zehra Yiğit, screenwriter, director, and author Turgut Yasalar, and documentary and animated film director and Associate Professor Sevcan Sönmez have been announced.

At the National Documentary Film Competition, “There Is No Place Called Allianoi,” directed and produced by Elif Nur Kayalar and set to have its world premiere in Antalya, ,’ directed and produced by Elif Nur Kayalar and set to have its world premiere in Antalya; ‘Journey to the White Continent,’ directed and produced by Tayfun Belet and set to have its world premiere in Antalya; and ‘Starfish: A Story of Courage,’ directed and produced by Kenan Özer and set to have its world premiere in Antalya; ‘My Camera Weighs 45 Kilos,’ directed by Kenan Özer and set to have its world premiere in Antalya; ‘Ash and Salt,’ directed by Çağatay Yurt and produced by Tunç Akkoç, set to have its world premiere in Antalya; ‘Modernist: Usmanbaş,’ directed by Serdar Kökçeoğlu and produced by Elif Dizdaroğlu and Serdar Kökçeoğlu, which will have its world premiere in Antalya; ‘Mükellef,’ directed by Arda Sarıgün and produced by Arda Sarıgün and Mehmet Erkmen, which will have its world premiere in Antalya; ‘Mükellef’; ‘Prima Ballerina Meriç,’ directed and produced by Deniz Gürgen Atalay, which will have its world premiere in Antalya; and ‘Uzakta,’ directed by M. All films in the selection will have their Turkish premieres, and a total of 9 films will have their world premieres in Antalya.
At the festival, the main jury members for the National Documentary Film Competition are “Sabire Soytok, Selçuk Metin, and Aslı Akdağ,” while the main jury members for the National Short Film Competition are “Hakkı Kurtuluş, Melike Kasaplar, and Belkıs Bayrak.”
Powerhouse International Films to Compete at the Golden Orange
In the International Feature Film Competition, films will compete for the awards for “Best Film, Best Director, Special Jury Prize, Best Actor, Best Actress, and the Sungu Çapan Critics’ Jury Award for Best Foreign Film.” All films in the selection will have their Turkish premieres in Antalya.
In the International Feature Film Competition: Directed by Mohamed Ali Nahdi, this co-production of Tunisia, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia won the Best Actor Award at the 46th Cairo International Film Festival and the Fajr International Film Festival, and set to have its Turkish premiere in Antalya, “Round 13,” a German production directed by Jacqueline Jansen, which won the FIPRESCI Award at the 42nd Munich Film Festival, where it won the FIPRESCI Award, New German Cinema Awards in the categories of Production and Acting, and the Grand Jury Prize at the Nuremberg Turkey-Germany Film Festival, and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya; “Six Weeks On - A Six-Week Farewell, directed by George Ovashvili, a co-production of Georgia, Luxembourg, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Bulgaria, 29. Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya; ‘The Moon Is a Father of Mine - One of My Fathers Is the Moon,’ directed by Shahram Mokri, a co-production of Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates, which was Tajikistan’s submission for Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya; and ‘Black Rabbit, White Rabbit - Black Rabbit, White Rabbit,’ directed by Hüseyin Aydın Gürsoy; a French production that had its world premiere at the La Baule Film Festival and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya; ‘A Turkish Case - Bir Türk Meselesi,’ directed by Yukiko Sode; a Japanese production that competed in the Un Certain Regard section of the 79th Cannes Film Festival’s Un Certain Regard section and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya; “All the Lovers in the Night,” directed by Andrey Zvyagintsev, a co-production of France, Latvia, Germany, and Turkey, which competed in the Main Competition section of the 79th “Minotaur,” directed by Lucas Vignale and Lorenzo Ferro, is an Argentine production that won the Grand Prix in the Main Competition section of the 79th Cannes Film Festival and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya. It had its world premiere at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya; “The River Train - Nehir Treni,” directed by Isabelle Tollenaere, is a Belgian production that had its world premiere at the 60th “Paris Paris,” directed by Lalith Rathnayake, is a Sri Lankan production that competed in the Proxima section of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya; it is the 27th “Riverstone,” directed by Ufuk Emiroğlu, which won the Best Screenplay and Best Cinematography awards at the Shanghai International Film Festival and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya, “Sevda,” a co-production of Switzerland, Turkey, and Belgium, which had its world premiere in the International Competition section of the Zurich Film Festival and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya, directed by Ali Asgari; a co-production of Iran, Switzerland, Italy, Canada, and Turkey, which competed in the Main Competition section of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival’s Main Competition section and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya; and “A Bit of Light - Umut Işığı,” directed by Fernanda Tovar, a co-production of Mexico, France, and Spain, which competed in the Generation 14plus section of the 76th Berlin International Film Festival’s Generation 14plus section, where it won the Crystal Bear and the Grand Prize, and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya.
