Turkey’s longest-running film festival, the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, will take place from October 24–31, 2026, and will feature 13 films in its International Feature Film Competition. In the International Feature Film Competition, the films will compete for the “Best Film, Best Director, Special Jury Prize, Best Actor, Best Actress, and the Sungu Çapan Critics’ Jury Award for Best Foreign Film.” All films in the selection will have their Turkish premieres in Antalya.
The Heart of International Cinema Will Beat at the Golden Orange
In the International Feature Film Competition: “Round 13,” directed by Mohamed Ali Nahdi and a co-production of Tunisia, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, which won the Best Actor Award at the 46th Cairo International Film Festival and the Fajr International Film Festival, and set to have its Turkish premiere in Antalya, “Round 13”; the German film “The Last of the German New Wave,” directed by Jacqueline Jansen, which won the FIPRESCI Award at the 42nd Munich Film Festival, where it won the FIPRESCI Award, New German Cinema Awards in the categories of Production and Acting, and the Grand Jury Prize at the Nuremberg Turkey-Germany Film Festival, and which will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya; “Six Weeks On,” directed by George Ovashvili, a co-production of Georgia, Luxembourg, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Bulgaria, which won the Best Director and Best Cinematographer awards in the Main Competition section of the 29th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival’s Main Competition, where it won the Best Director and Best Cinematographer awards, and which will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya, “The Moon Is a Father of Mine,” directed by Shahram Mokri, is a co-production of Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates, and was nominated for Best International Feature Film at the 98th “Black Rabbit, White Rabbit,” Tajikistan’s nominee for Best International Feature Film at the Academy Awards, which will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya; “A Turkish Case,” directed by Hüseyin Aydın Gürsoy, a French production that had its world premiere at the La Baule Film Festival and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya; “All the Lovers in the Night,” directed by Yukiko Sode, a Japanese production that competed in the Un Certain Regard section of the 79th Cannes Film Festival and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya; “Minotaur,” directed by Andrey Zvyagintsev, a co-production of France, Latvia, Germany, and Turkey that competed in the Main Competition section of the 79th Cannes Film Festival’s Main Competition section, where it won the Grand Prix, and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya; “Minotaur,” directed by Lucas Vignale and Lorenzo Ferro, an Argentine production that had its world premiere at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya. “The River Train,” directed by Isabelle Tollenaere, is a Belgian production that premiered at the 60th “Paris,” which competed in the Proxima section of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya, is a Sri Lankan production directed by Lalith Rathnayake, and is the 27th “Riverstone,” which won the Best Screenplay and Best Cinematography awards at the Shanghai International Film Festival and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya, is directed by Ufuk Emiroğlu, a co-production of Switzerland, Turkey, and Belgium, which had its world premiere in the International Competition section of the Zurich Film Festival and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya, “Sevda,” directed by Ali Asgari, a co-production of Iran, Switzerland, Italy, Canada, and Turkey, 83. Venice International Film Festival’s Main Competition section and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya; and “A Bit of Light,” directed by Fernanda Tovar, a co-production of Mexico, France, and Spain, which competed in the Generation 14plus section of the 76th Berlin International Film Festival’s Generation 14plus section, where it won the Crystal Bear and the Grand Prize, and will have its Turkish premiere in Antalya.
