At the 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, the films competing for the “Golden Orange” in the National Feature Film category have been announced.
Turkey’s longest-running film festival, the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, will take place from October 24–31, 2026. The National Feature Film Competition features 12 films. All films in the selection will have their Turkish premieres, and a total of 8 films will have their world premieres in Antalya. This year, the festival—which will make a significant contribution to cinema with a total prize fund of 11 million TL—has set the Best Film award in the National Feature Film Competition at 5 million TL. Derviş Zaim will serve as the Jury President for the National Feature Film Competition at the Golden Orange.
Films at the Golden Orange Festival: Best Film, Dr. Avni Tolunay Special Jury Prize, Behlül Dal Best First Film Award, Best Director, Cahide Sonku Award, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Music, Best Editing, Best Art Direction, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor, the Sungu Çapan Critics’ Jury Award for Best Domestic Film, and the Film-Yön Best Director Award.
12 Films to Compete for the ‘Golden Orange’ in the National Feature Film Competition
In the National Feature Film Competition—whose preliminary jury consists of post-production company manager, studio, and production coordinator Ahmet Seyrekbasan; producer Derya Tarım; and academic Prof. Dr. Zeynep Çetin Erus—films that contribute to cinematic culture and stand out for their original storytelling and artistic approach will compete.
In the National Feature Film Competition, “Artakalan”—directed by Yeşim Ustaoğlu and starring Öykü Karayel, Metin Akdülger, Ali Kayra Kul, and İlyas Salman—will have its Turkish premiere following its inclusion in the Official Selection of the 74th San Sebastian International Film Festival’s 2026 Official Selection, will have its Turkish premiere. “Wait for Us, Brussels,” directed by Necmi Sancak and starring Caner Cindoruk, Can Bartu Arslan, Deniz Işın, Hande Doğandemir, Deniz Dumanlı, and Menderes Samancılar, will have its world premiere in Antalya. Directed by Büşra Bülbül and starring Sevda Erginci, Duygu Köse, Ümran Şakır, Osman Doğan, and Ahmet Çelik, “About the Mother” will have its Turkish premiere following its screening in the Asian New Talents Competition at the 28th Shanghai International Film Festival. Directed by Ferit Karahan and starring Demet Özdemir, Kaan Yıldırım, İlhan Şen, Sarp Bozkurt, Helin Kandemir, and Evliya Aykan, “The Wedding of the Jinn” will meet audiences in Turkey for the first time after being selected for the 2026 Platform Section of the Toronto International Film Festival. Directed by Emre Aybek and starring Yasemin Sakallıoğlu, Mehmet Korhan Fırat, Yiğit Özşener, Ali Aksöz, Hande Doğandemir, and Tuğba Çom, “The Wedding Singer” will have its world premiere in Antalya. Directed by Sinan Sertel and starring Berfu Öngören, Cemil Büyükdöğerli, Defne Doğar, Ekin Türkmen, Mehmet Çepiç, Sabahattin Yakut, Serkan Altıntaş, and Ulvi Kahyaoğlu, “Elisa” will have its world premiere in Antalya.
