The special section titled “Roots, Light, and Camera!,” part of the international program of the 63rd Antalya Golden Orange International Film Festival, is dedicated to filmmakers who continue to create in the shadow of war and occupation.

Scheduled to take place from October 24–31, 2026, Turkey’s longest-running film festival—the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival—will present the special section titled “Roots, Light, and Camera!” to film enthusiasts as part of its international program.

Comprising films from Iran, Lebanon, Ukraine, and Palestine, the selection highlights the work of creators who, under harsh and extraordinary conditions, do not merely settle for living or surviving, but view cinema as a space for existence and expression. While celebrating filmmakers who continue to produce art under these challenging conditions, the section aims to ensure that their valuable work reaches a wider audience.
