The Excitement of the 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival

Turkey’s longest-running film festival, the 63rd Antalya International Golden Orange Film Festival, will take place from October 24 to 31, 2026.
Following the festival committee meeting hosted by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Büşra Özdemir—with the participation of Acting Secretary-General Ramazan Demir, Deputy Secretaries-General Hüsamettin Elmas, Dr. Çiğdem Hacıoğlu, and Cemil Böcek, as well as our Festival Art Director Deniz Yavuz—it was announced that the 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival will take place from October 24 to 31, 2026. Following the comprehensive meeting, during which all details of the festival were discussed, preparations have begun for this year’s 63rd edition of the festival.
Yavuz: “We’re Preparing a Festival Worthy of the Golden Orange’s History”
Commenting on the 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, Festival Artistic Director Deniz Yavuz said, “In keeping with the history of the Golden Orange, we have begun our preparations for this new edition of the festival with even greater determination and resolve. The International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival—the pride of Turkey, which enables international visibility, promotes our national film culture to the world, and provides opportunities to meet with foreign film professionals—will be held this time with even greater dedication and heartfelt support, guided by an inclusive and sincere approach. “With the hope of meeting you at this 63rd edition—which we will organize without ever forgetting our responsibility toward this great festival legacy, while ensuring the continuity of Antalya’s contribution to our cinema, our filmmakers, and our film culture…” he said.
With the Golden Orange, the Heart of Cinema Will Beat Once Again in Antalya
Last year, the film “The Rabbit Empire” made a big splash in the national category by winning 7 awards, while in the international category, the film “A Poet” (A Poet) won the “Best Film” award; offering a rich program that includes national and international competition selections as well as special screenings, panel discussions, and industry gatherings, the Golden Orange Festival aims once again this year to transform Antalya into the center of cinema through the unifying power of art. The festival, which has made significant contributions to the development of cinema to date, is once again preparing to offer participants a comprehensive and high-quality program. Events that will bring together both industry professionals and audiences will once again transform Antalya into a vibrant hub of cultural exchange.
The submission deadlines for the competitive sections and the Film Forum of the 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival will be announced in the coming days.
