The projects that will be evaluated by industry professionals at Film Forum, one of Türkiye’s leading industry support platforms, have been announced.
Taking place as part of the 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, to be held from 24 to 31 October 2026, Film Forum will provide a total of TRY 1,450,000 in support for new Turkish cinema productions. The finalist projects will pitch their projects on 26 October at 12:00, and those receiving awards at the ceremony on 27 October will begin their journey with this initial support.
A total of 269 applications were submitted to Film Forum: 10 to the Sümer Tilmaç Candidate category of the Feature Fiction Film Pitching Platform, 16 to the Feature Fiction Film Work in Progress Platform, 167 to the First Feature Film Development Platform, 35 to the Documentary Film Work in Progress Platform, and 41 to the Feature Fiction Film Pitching Platform. Film Forum, which will be held for the 13th time this year, received 172 project applications last year.
Applications to the Pitching Platform were evaluated by a preliminary jury consisting of screenwriter and author Hüseyin Kuzu and academic and film critic Ertan Tunç. The preliminary jury for the Work in Progress section consisted of director, producer, screenwriter and educator Elif Refiğ, and producer and media executive Sena Argün.
Aiming to discover emerging filmmakers, support them in taking a strong step into the world of cinema, and connect their projects with film professionals, Film Forum will take place at Hotel Su on 26–27 October.
