Turkey’s longest-running film festival, the Antalya International Golden Orange Film Festival, will take place from October 24 to 31, 2026. This year’s Honorary Award will be presented to Tilbe Saran.

Actress and voice actress Tilbe Saran, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 63rd Antalya Golden Orange International Film Festival, has performed in more than thirty productions with numerous theater companies, including Kenter Theatre, Dormen Theatre, Istanbul City Theatres (1989–1995), Aksanat Production Theatre (1995–2005), of which she was a founding member, Aysa Production Theatre, Semaver Kumpanya, Tiyatro Pera, and Pürtelaş Theatre. She also appeared in the special production A Tribute to Nâzım, directed by Genco Erkal at Dostlar Theatre. 

Throughout her film career, Tilbe Saran has delivered memorable performances in Kırlangıç Fırtınası (1985), Bir Erkeğin Anatomisi (1996), Kaç Para Kaç (1998), Korkuyorum Anne (2004), Beş Vakit (2006), Turquaze and Ezber (2009), Zenne (2012), Çekmeceler (2015), Yol Ayrımı (2017), Seni Buldum Ya (2021) and Bergen (2022), leaving a lasting mark on Turkish cinema across different generations. She received her first film award at the 48th Golden Orange Film Festival in 2011, winning the Best Supporting Actress award for her performance in Zenne.

Awarded numerous theater honors for her performances in productions such as King Lear, Uncle Vanya, One-Person City, Creditors, Mother Courage, and Abelard and Heloise, Tilbe Saran studied under some of Turkey's most distinguished theater masters, including Yıldız Kenter, Haldun Dormen, Engin Uludağ, and Müjdat Gezen.

A member of the Actors' Union of Turkey since its establishment, Saran served as its General Secretary during its second term. Alongside her acting career, she continues to work as an educator and currently serves as a lecturer in the Department of Theatre at Kadir Has University, contributing to the training of new generations of actors.

 In addition, since 2016, in the village of Portakallık in Muğla, he has continued to bring together people from different professions and age groups at communal meals in a workshop he converted from a barn, providing opportunities for various educational activities and the sharing of experiences.

The “Honorary Awards” of the 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival will be presented to their recipients at the festival’s opening ceremony on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
