This time Golden Orange coming from our hearts...

A legacy of Avni Tolunay and Behlül Dal to Turkey, Golden Orange greets the people of Antalya and cinema lovers for the 62nd time. Golden Orange will once again become a meeting point for our filmmakers and filmlovers, and will take its place in our lives with its new edition as a platform where freely created works are expressed... This festival, which has left great gifts to Turkey’s cinema culture with its lifespan of more than half a century, manages to continue its blessed mission despite everything. The feeling of being home to hopeful filmmakers, new dreams, distinctive performances and horizonexpanding films at the end of a festival adventure keeps our energy constantly high.

We set out with great responsibility and dedication, with awareness, and planned the 2025 festival for our cinema culture with industry professionals. We worked hard to have a strong festival design with our team of hundreds of people in a very short preparation period. We were a good team, we did not give up, we worked day and night to produce a solution and a good festival in peace with the baggage of the past year...

We created the selections by discussing the high applications in the national competition categories with sensitive pre-evaluations. 108 films are reflected on the screen in an expanded range from special screenings to galas, competition sections to student films. The tickets offered for sale through ‘online’ channels for the Golden Orange, where the financial prize of 9 million TL will also be given to its winners, sold out in fifteen minutes. The famous faces of our cinema accepted to take part in the jury teams of the competition sections with great favor for the festival, whose preparations we were able to start late due to the election calendar.

We are also appearing before you with a strong program to reciprocate all these efforts and unconditional support. Despite everything, we aim to write a story together and reflect this story we wrote on the screen. We wish you many festivals that we will complete together and wish you a pleasant viewing...
