Those who commit one of the nine major sins — greed, pride, lust, anger, envy, sloth, extravagance, betrayal, and violence — are judged under the Law of Forgetting. Upon their death, all their belongings are seized, and everything they own is confiscated. The offenders’ personal possessions and corpses are taken to the grinding factory, where they are crushed, erasing every trace of their existence from the world.
