A factory manager in Istanbul, Ferhat (49), and a bank manager Handan (45) have arranged to have a child through surrogacy with Lia (28), a young artist of mixed Georgian and Ukrainian descent. Soon after their daughter Ada (1) is born, the war between Russia and Ukraine erupts. Due to this, Lia is forced to stay with Ferhat and Handan in Istanbul for a while longer. Believing that surrogacy is the formula to take her to Europe, Lia does not want to part with Ada.
