The documentary 'Genco', with the script of which was written by Genco Erkal and therefore has a rare autobiographical quality, deals with the career and artistic life of a master of Turkish theater, Genco Erkal. The documentary, which takes the audience on a journey through the past under the guidance of Genco Erkal, tells the life story of the artist, who has directed 56 plays, acted in 81 plays, translated 9 plays, made 24 adaptations and written 1 play so far.
The documentary, which started on Istiklal Street, where the artist's childhood, youth and professional life took place, proceeds transitively, with associations between events, times and places, rather than following a chronological order.
